One Nation leader Pauline Hanson told a rally of about 100 supporters in Brisbane that she respects former SAS soldier Ben Roberts-Smith, who faces five war crimes charges, calling him a "war hero" and comparing his prosecution to her own overturned 2003 conviction. Rally organiser Lawrence Henzell called for supporters to form "an army of civilians" to back Roberts-Smith, who has denied all allegations.

I'm noticing a recurring pattern. Hanson has great difficultly accepting new information when it strongly conflicts with her beliefs. This murder case is an example of her clinging to her past opinions. She simply forgets or rejects a courts determinations. She does the same with climate change. She cannot accept the science. She also does it by her continuing support for Trump and Israel. This enduring quality flatly rules her out of any role in authority.
