About 50,000 residents of Garden Grove, California remain under evacuation orders after a cracked tank at GKN Aerospace facility threatened to leak or explode, containing 7,000 gallons of methyl methacrylate, a highly toxic and flammable chemical. Emergency responders are continuously spraying the damaged tank with water to cool it and contain potential leaks with barriers, while officials say a crack could be preferable to an explosion as it would relieve pressure.
Why don't they consider the lives of 10 of thousands of people? The same thing happened in Lebanon. Do you think industrialists get away with too much in the USA?

You can't maintain standards when government has no integrity. For our security we demand accountability. Is this California's remit or a federal one?
Seems like GKN takes a bit of the blame here. Improper maintenance of a 7,000 tank of toxic chemicals is a grave error.
