One Nation leader Pauline Hanson's proposal to increase Australian defence spending to 5 percent of GDP would cost an estimated extra $400 billion over four years and require tax increases, budget cuts, or possible conscription, according to defence economist Marcus Hellyer. The party has provided no details on funding or implementation despite polling gains that have prompted Liberal Party leaders to consider preference-sharing arrangements.

Pauline: Doing whatever she can to help Gina further Trump's corporate interests. What a muppet.

And bring a chapter of MAGA to our shores, she's visited Mar-a-Lago with Gina a few times now.

She has no concept of stewardship. That is why her party withers in dysfunction, why she ended up in jail and why she can't get her head around global climate change. She only thinks in terms of extremes. Massive spending on military and massive cuts to immigration are two examples she believes in but when it comes to massive changes to our energy sources she fails. Her views on Aboriginals, Asians and now Muslims are all simplistic. Them be baddies while Israel and its people are the goodies, like Trump. Her thinking has no nuance which is required if you want to govern successfully.

I don't think she's anywhere near as charismatic as trump and i don't like either of them

Historically, One Nation members have quit the party shortly after getting elected (the most recent one last year), so there's not even any track record of seeing how they govern in power. The prospect of them getting any real power, which it seems we're heading towards, is pretty worrying.
