What data does Topicle collect?

A note in advance: For using Topicle, you will not need any account. This means you will not have to enter your email address or a password.

  • Cookie - Topicle only uses one cookie named "config". A cookie is a small file on your computer that contains a string of characters. In Topicle's case, we save a randomly generated key in your cookie file, e.g. "vwiuz73". The purpose of this key is to identify your browser, so we are able to keep your settings. A setting may be information on what Topicle search engines you have recently used, for instance. Also, we use the cookie to recognize user trends and to constantly improve Topicle. Of course, you can change the settings in your browser to reject cookies. However, please note that the rejection of cookies may cause Topicle not to work properly on your computer.
  • Log information - Our servers automatically log information that your browser sends whenever you visit Topicle. These server logs may include information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, operating system, the date and time of your request and your cookie that may uniquely identify your browser.
  • User communications – When you send email or other communication to Topicle, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
  • Links – This Privacy Policy applies to Topicle services only. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or external links. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
